Trail Description

You’ll find Washabuck Falls near Iona — a 1km return trail rated 2b for difficulty.

Washabuck Falls is one of those spots you won’t find unless someone points you in the right direction, tucked away near the quiet community of Washabuck not far from Iona. There’s no long hike or marked trailhead here, just a short walk in and the growing sound of water leading the way.

The falls themselves spill over a rocky ledge into a cool, shaded pool, especially lively in spring and after a good rain. It’s the kind of place locals have known about for years, a simple, peaceful stop where you can sit for a while, listen to the water, and enjoy a stretch of forest that hasn’t changed much over time.

There isn’t much in the way of signage, so take your time finding it and tread lightly once you do. Places like this stay special because they’re cared for, shared quietly, and discovered one visit at a time.

That makes perfect sense—if you’re on the final stop, there is no "Next," so the button is technically a "liar" if it stays visible! To fix this, we need to change the logic so that instead of waiting for the last section to leave the screen, the button fades out as soon as the last section arrives at the top of the screen. The Updated Script This version specifically checks if the Last Stop has reached the top of the viewport. HTML
