Warren Lake

Warren lake is the largest of the lakes in the Highlands National Park. The trail consists of a relaxing day hike of level trail and maintained boardwalk.

Starting at either the Warren Lake picnic area or the access trail from Broad Cove Campground, the trail hugs the shoreline of the lake and is teaming with plant with wildlife.

Whether you are an avid hiker or just out with the kids to catch the distinct call of the loon, Warren Lake is a great place to start the day.

While traveling the Cabot Trail, turn at the English town ferry (located at the base of Kelly¹s mountain), continue toward Ingonish. A couple kilometres past Dino’s store, look for signs for Mary Anne Falls. Turn left and follow the signs that lead you to the Warren Lake parking lot. (The hike is located in the Highlands National Park, so you may want to pick up a map of hiking trails as you enter the Park)
