On September 17, 2011, Moosebait.com, Bras d’Or Lake Biosphere Reserve Association, The Lakes Golf Course and Ski Ben Eoin invited people to a special celebration to mark the UNESCO designation of Bras d’Or Lake and watershed as a Man and the Biosphere Reserve.

The mob, consisting of 38 people ranging in age from 6 to 78, made its way up Eagle ski slope for a mountaintop mob-style gathering where they enjoyed the panoramic view of Bras d’Or Lakes, trivia (with prizes), and a song (May I remind you we are hikers not musicians).
